What it can look like at home
A home is a set of spaces with different exposures, uses, and paths for heat or cooled air. A single system can operate normally while distribution, room design, controls, or the building envelope leave one area behind the rest.
Why it can happen
Uneven rooms can be connected to duct airflow, balancing, radiators or baseboard, thermostat location, insulation, sun exposure, doors, zoning, equipment operation, or a change in how the room is used. One uncomfortable room does not automatically mean the central equipment is failing.
